Cedar Lakes

Post by mgiannaccio1 » Mon Jun 19, 2017 5:26 pm

Well four of us decided to brave the wind on Saturday. Myself, frank, James and Julio launched shortly after 6 a.m. From the boat launch. The wind was blowing pretty good I guess 15-20 mph. We paddled straight across the ICW and down the cut that leads back to the lakes.

We fished the cut for a while with no bites. I saw lots of baitfish and even saw some fish chasing bait but no takers. The water was very dirty and in my assessment the reason why not much was caught.

We tried to leave the protected cut but the wind was way too strong.

James headed off to another spot and had seen some action but no takers.

This spot looks great so I will definitely be going back.

Sucks that I missed a trip but I was wore out from work and hunting the previous night. Hopefully we can get out again soon.
